OUR STORY:
We are a Christ-centered church located in the heart of Newton, a community that we love and desire to flourish.
Our church began in Sparta in the 90's before we acquired the Station House Plaza building where we currently meet. We have the privilege of hosting some great local businesses on our property (even though being located above a pizza shop proves to be a little too tempting sometimes).
We are ministry partners with Market Street Mission which is also located in our building. The church invited Market St. to take over a portion of our church building in order to provide overnight shelter to men who are in need of housing, while encouraging them to take healthy next steps and consider enrolling in the long-term recovery program located at Market Street's central location in Morristown. This has been an amazing partnership for our church and has brought a tremendous impact to our neighborhood in a short amount of time.
Our church hosts a weekly Celebrate Recovery ministry where any participant is welcome to process their struggles in a welcoming and safe environment.
We are a grateful member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, a global denomination with a heart for sharing the good news of Jesus across the entire world. We are a part of the Alliance's Metro District and make up one of the 130+ churches located in the NY-NJ-Philadelphia metro area.
